Denver Inmate Hangs Himself

Today, a 25 year old man hung himself in Denver County Jail while awaiting extradition to Kansas for a meth charge.   Thomas Allen Barton had just completed a fifteen day sentence for shoplifting.  Clearly, Mr. Barton was struggling with personal demons and its unfortunate that either no one saw the warning signs or came to his aid [...]

Violent Crimes Down Again
